Photo 1. Drip irrigation line is directed down through top of insertion shank, then out the back for burial.

Photo 2. Insertion shank, mounted at rear of tractor, is lowered into ground in the center of the vine row.  While the tractor pulls the shank through the ground, the drip line is played out at a depth of 20 inches.
