  (Superior Farming was a 38,000 acre, fully diversified, extremely modern farm with operations in the central and southern San Joaquin Valley, the Coachella Valley, and Tucson, Arizona. Superior Farming was a leader in the development and adaptation of modern water management including automated micro-irrigation, computerized water-budget irrigation scheduling using neutron probes and on-farm weather stations, field irrigation event evaluations, and linear sprinkler and automated surface irrigation systems.)
